Your Business Needs Corporate Brochures

Corporate brochures are here to stay. While traditional media and advertising continue to become less relevant in many markets, a brochure is still one of the best ways to promote a business.  But what matters isn’t just whether or not you have one; it’s how you utilize it.  There are tons of different promo tools at a business owner’s finger tip.  It is important to have a corporate brochure that can create a connection with a potential customer, explain a service and offer an incentive to buy now.

One may wonder how important a brochure design can be in an age where the internet is becoming the most important resource on the planet.  This concern is completely valid.  These days, investing marketing dollars in traditional advertising can be like putting all your money in a pile and lighting it on fire.  However, next to a website, a corporate brochure can be the most important resource you have at your disposal.

First of all, it introduces you to your target customer.  You’re not always going to be able to pitch your product or service on the spot, so a brochure allows you to give them the necessary information.  The web can do a lot of things, but it can’t place a good looking piece of media directly in your clients’ hands.  Human engagement will always be an incredibly important part of any strong sales culture.

Brochures also give you the opportunity to explain your products and services.  Every business should try to establish a unique brand and culture.  Quickly and succinctly explain what makes you special.  What makes you stand out from the competition?  How will your products and services help solve the client’s needs better than anyone else?  A focused brochure will allow you to successfully sell a customer on the reasons why you are the answer to their problem.

Aside from marketing to your target audience and explaining your products and services, a well-designed brochure just looks good.  Simply by having one you can create instant credibility.  It shows that you care about your business; that you are focused and professional.  Corporate brochures allow you to create your brand identity and promote it effectively.

Corporate brochures allow you to present a clear purpose and can prompt a prospective client to buy.  You can differentiate yourself from your local competition by explaining exactly what it is that makes you the best value, running a spectacular promotion, or having a unique marketing strategy. Unlike a business card, which is easily lost or tossed away, a brochure is a large piece of media with your contact information clearly displayed.  Its sheer size makes it more likely that someone will hold on to it.

Don’t fall prey to ignoring your traditional advertising needs.  A good marketing strategy uses a diverse set of methods.  Make sure that a creatively designed and well-written brochure is something you put to use.  You’ll be glad you did.
